As progressives in Colorado, we know that there are several agendas that can no longer be ignored, as Washington, DC continues to discuss the size and scope of President Joe Biden’s Buildback Better Plan.

The Build Back Better Plan is a critical moment for the United States to take the lead in mitigating the effects of man-made climate change. Instead of increasing the tax burden on working families, the Build Back Better Plan will move us down the path of taxing wealth the way taxes work, and calling on those who have benefited the most from decades of prosperity to clear their mess.

This week’s message: Your congressional representatives should know that man-made climate change is an integral part of a good building plan.. It is not right to obstruct the overwhelming scientific consensus that one U.S. senator from the coal country needs immediate action.
